Prepare for our BIGGEST announcement yet...
We've collaborated with BROOKLYN BREWERY to create a sessionable new IPA using the West African 'super-grain' FONIO.
Ever heard of fonio? It's one of Africa's oldest cereals and has sustainability credentials due to its drought resistance and ability to grow in nutrient-poor soil without fertilizers and pesticides...
Our new FONIO SESSION IPA curated with Garrett Oliver, brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery, has been accessibly brewed & is super crushable - just as you'd expect from a Brewgooder beer. Canned at 4.3% ABV with a light finish, beer drinkers are going to love this drink! We hope that our great tasting new beer inspires brewers across the globe to try out the fonio grain in their brews, making brewery supply chains more inclusive and less carbon intensive!
Sales of this beer will positively impact the lives of fonio farmers throughout West Africa by enabling clean water piped systems to the area, thus empowering local communities where fonio farming is prevalent.
Available in 4-packs at Co-Op stores now!
A note from Alan, Co-Founder at Brewgooder:
'When we first started brewing, I'm not sure I would have believed it if someone said we would one day collaborate with Brooklyn Brewery... To work with them on a collaboration that is not only the UK's first ever 'at scale' fonio grain beer but also a product that empowers communities, and also gathers learnings for more sustainable brewing, is something very special to the entire Brewgooder team.'
